Connecting to a new range extender - Arlo wire free camera home security system

My wifi range was not adequate to provide desired cover for my home.  I purchased a strong range extender yesterday and now have good wifi range, however, I don't know how to get the cameras operating with the new range extender signal.  What do I need to do to get the cameras working off the new range extender?

The Arlo wirefree cameras will only connect to the Arlo base station. So, unless the range extender allows you to place the Arlo base station in a more central location of your house from where adequate range would be provided to all your cameras, you haven't gained anything with the range extender (since wirefree Arlo cameras won't directly connect to any third-party range extenders).

If a single Arlo base station, even if placed in a central location, cannot provide adequate coverage for all your cameras you need to look into acquiring more Arlo base station(s). You can then either lay Ethernet cable to the additional (remote) Arlo base station(s) or use a wifi range extender to connect your Internet router to the remote Arlo base stations.

For the latter to work a wifi range extender must have an Ethernet port for an Arlo base station to plug into.
