My home internet is through a 5G modem (cellular data). I'm having issues connecting to my new Arlo essential cameras.
The camera's are actually showing up in my connected devices on my network info however the Arlo app won't recognise the cameras.
Any idea what the problem and solution may be, I assume it's related to the type of internet connection I have as there everything else seems to be correct.

Try onboarding again from a PC (browsing to my.arlo.com). Sometimes that works when discovery in the app fails.

No luck. Same issue. The camera does seem to connect to the network however it is not recognised on my device.

Can you try disabling 5 ghz wifi in the router during onboarding?
