I need a solution for my mountain house.

The house is left unattended for months.

it is heated to a safe level (+8C) when I am not there, but outside temperature reach -30-35C during winter.

I would like a wired solution without battery problems. Either security through windows or a heated outside camera. Since I also would like indoors security - based on Arlo Q, I would like an Arlo based total solution. Any hope of Netgear solving this?

Einar,

The temperatures you mention are below the thresholds for outdoor Arlo Wire-free camera use.

It sounds like Arlo Q/Q+ (for indoor use) might fit your needs. You could use these pointing out your windows from inside the house to monitor outdoors. For more information on these cameras, take a look here: Arlo Products &Accessories

I have installed an Arlo Q camera ca 2m from my Netgear router. The camera is pointing out a window. Reflexes from window is disturbing picture quality. One of the problems is the led in front of the camera. Even if I turn off led in app it still keeps on blinking. Seems like led is connected to wlan signal strength. PC/iPhone/iPad shows full signal, but Arlo Q shows low/no signal. Faulty camera?

Some folks have simply taped over the LED.
