Cannot get my system up and running

App running on both windows 10 and android 6

ISP BTinternet

Main router BT home hub

 

 

Have netgear router up and running three steady green lights

Camera sync'd

if I go into app in settings, camera settings I can get a picture but if I go into the camera tab I get the message "the conection to media server times out, was closed or had an eror"

 

I have tried with firewall on and off, putting into dmz all to no avail any help out there?

If your base station has a solid green internet LED that means it is communicating with the Arlo servers. Do you get the same result if you try to log in from a different device. Also consider logging in from a mobile device using a 3g/4g connection to further isolate where the problem may be.

That's interesting James, when I use my mobile and view the app via 3g I get a picture.  It must be something to do with my home wifi.
