I have a VMB3010r2 that I decommissioned and was going to give to a friend who is going through a divorce and wants a little security. I am having the same issue adding cameras to that device.
The blue lights on the camera flash, the led on the base station flashes, everything looks like it's successful, until I look at the dashboard and see the base station with no new cameras.
Base Station - VMB3010r2, firmware 1.21.0.3_1545_2417bfb
Cameras - VMC3030 unknown firmware, but less than a year old, since they were online until about last May.
