Due to ARLO refusing to allow any of it's customers to contact them and cancel their subscriptions, I am going to go forward with a class action lawsuit which will also include ALL OF MY TIME AND EFFORT (and anyone else who wants to join in free of charge) put in to attempting to find a business resolution to cancelling a subscription, which is usually quite simple with most 'valid' and 'reputable' companies....I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!

You can change or cancel subscriptions by logging into your Arlo account and following the instructions listed here: https://kb.arlo.com/ja/1215141/How-do-I-change-or-cancel-my-Arlo-subscription-plan

What are you experiencing that is preventing you from cancelling your subscription?

I dont know who James C is.... but IF it were that EASY... there would not be POST after POST about the ISSUE!!!!

I logged on to My Arlo dot whatever account and I clicked on SETTINGS... scroll down to where it says SUBSCRIPTIONS... and the word SUBSCRIPTION is greyed out... it will NOT ALLOW ME TO CLICK ON IT AND CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION...  all it will allow me to do is remove my devices...

I know how to READ... and I know a bit about computers.   I also know a company which does everything in their power to stop their customers from cancelling subscriptions... had Arlo simply allowed me to program my daughters cell phone to my GEOFENCING...I would have stuck with them... but since Arlo cannot even assist me with that aspect... and your customer service is NONE AT ALL!!!!!... the phone number is OUTGOING ONLY.... now I have no desire to be with ARLO... and I am spreading the word to those who will listen about ARLO and their fraudulent ways of doing business... I have a claim in to my bank who apparently has prior knowledge of ARLO's issues.  I WANT MY SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLED.... !!!!  WHAT PART OF THIS IS DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND...

I have taken the steps necessary to completely document my messages, emails, posts and prior phone calls (when you allowed your customers to contact ya'll)....

If Subscriptions is gray, that's because it's a section header. What is underneath that header? A screenshot may be useful to figure this out.

I think k it is very sad how Arlo as well many other companies operate today via misleading and or suppressed information through such things as super long and complicated user agreements rarely anyone ever reads or if they did wouldn't comprehend 50% of it's language.

Something such as cancelation of a subscription should be just as if not easier than signing up to begin with. It should be on the home page in a category all it's own in BOLD letters and done with two clicks and no more instead of holding customers bank accounts ransom as I have dealt with this time and time again hence why there are companies making money simply off of canceling memberships.

Even worse (and this is my main complant!), Arlo as well many other camera/tech companies are selling their products while customers who paid for the item finds it does not work any longer after a month or so without a subscription.  I paid $280 roughly, for two cameras for them to shut down and no longer function a fraction of what they did and now am stuck with nearly $300 invested in something I cannot use. If it requires a subscription, it should say in BOLD letters "REQUIRES SUBSCRIPTION TO FULLY FUNCTION"!

"Fully function" is an absolute joke as I cannot even open up the camera feed much less record or capture anything on the cameras I purchased. Any company that operates in this fashion should be shamed out of business imo if not called to repay money spent for selling a camera or whatever product which everyone knows what it is meant for and supposed to do yet those functions are hindered after the "trial period" which no one even knew about unless they were specifically familiar with their products or vehemently researched their tactics in operation. I think it is deceptive sales practice and should be 100% restricted to a category only requiring subscriptions so people know 100% what they're getting. If you have 100s of 1000s of people buying these from the store without knowing their exact requirements, how many of of those have purchased something they were not aware of and how many millions of dollars is going to companies like Arlo where people are not even able to use that product without paying a repeated amount of money after already purchasing the product?

I would like to see a at the very least on the FRONT of packaging "REQUIRES SUBSCRIPTION" but I think Arlo knows they would not sale near as many cameras if they were this honest with their customers...God forbid!

As I said, Alrlo says that the cameras still function yet they will not even open the live camera feed, recording, etc. So then what is the point of having that besides as a deterrent which I could by a sign for that!
