I have a 5 cam wire-free system, when I ran the setup a couple of months ago, all five cams were working. But then in my mobile app, I switched one of the cams off.. A few days later, I had some kind of connectivity error, so I removed all the cams one by one. So far so good..
Now, the problem is this..
I then started syncing the cams one by one - But when it tried to sync the cam which I had switched off inside the app, I couldn't sync it. When pushing the sync button, it's totally dead - like, nothing happens!
I have tried to remove the batteries, add new batteries, remove them again and tried batteries from the other cams - but no luck.
The camera is still not syncing!
I have noticed, that when removing and adding batteries, the blue light goes on with a short flash telling me, that the camera is switched on, then I click the base station sync button and then the camera sync button - and Yay! - the camera start blinking like it should - how ever, it only does 6 flashes, and then it goes dead before the sync is finished.
When clicking the sync button again - nothing happens and it does not flash at all, until I remove the batteries and add them once again, starting all over by pressing the base station sync button, then the camera sync button - then the 6 short blue flashes and dead again!
Today I did a total reset reinstalling the whole system (removed everything and starting a new setup) - I had hoped this would finally work, so my fifth camera could come back online - But no such luck..
The camera acts the same way as it has done since that fatal day when I turned it off from my mobile app.
Is there any way, that I can do a hard reset on my camera - removing batteries does nothing, and it doesn't look like there are any reset buttons in/on the camera or any connectivity what so ever, for like connecting a usb cable or doing som kind og loop resetting it manually or with a device of any sort.
Any ideas on what to do?
It seems like the only way to do any sort of reset in this Arlo camera, is by doing it through an app or other software, which is kinda hard, when you can't get it to sync with base station or router 😞
