Can't add back an accidently deleted camera

Accidently deleted one of the VMC3030 cameras, and can't add it back. I have tried to sync it with base, and also with the iphone app. The blue light flashed, turned to quick orange flash, and then quick blue flash. Nothing shows on the device list after many combinations of the attempts.

Please help.

Remove the camera from Settings, My Devices if still present. Reboot the base. Press the base sync button briefly - don't hold it for 2 seconds and then press the camera sync button. Any better?
