Even using the provided defaults, to add, doesn't show up in its schedule. I want to leave all camera motion detections on 24/7 except one camera from 11 PM - 6 AM only.

I'm still using the very old first/original Arlo camera system mode. Does its Schedule mode not work with it or something? Or am I missing something with my iPhone 12 mini (iOS v17.7)'s updated Arlo app?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. 🙂

Currently, this Arlo system is 24/7 armed. I just want one of the wireless cameras only to be disarmed from 11 PM to 7 AM (sleep time). From 7 AM to 11 PM, I want it to be armed to detect motions and record as always. Basically, I don't want this camera to be 24/7 anymore. I can't figure out how to do that.

You first need to create a custom mode that has rules for all the cameras EXCEPT the one you want to be disarmed. Let's call that mode "nighttime". There is more information on how to do this here:

Note that if a camera rule is not in a mode, then that camera is disarmed when the mode is active.

Then you create a schedule with

    • Nighttime mode between midnight and 7 am
    • Armed mode between 7 am and 11 pm
    • Nighttime mode between 11 pm and midnight

You need two entries for Nighttime because you can't schedule a mode across midnight. There is a guide on scheduling here:

Arlo is gradually migrating all accounts to "Feed". No idea when they will get to you, but this will change at some point.

Now, it adds schedules after I upgraded iOS v17.7 to v17.7.1. However,

when I try to add a schedule it seems to do all the cameras? I only wanted one out of the four cameras in this connected original base station.

I'm still using the very old first/original Arlo camera system mode. I can't seem to figure out how to do that. Or am I missing something with my iPhone 12 mini (iOS v17.7.x)'s and 6+ (iOS v12.5.7)'s updated Arlo apps?

Are you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" in the app menu?  Or are you seeing "Library" instead?

If you now see "Feed", then

  • Arm Away and Arm Home should both be set up like the old "Armed" mode.
  • Standby should be set up like the old "Disarmed" mode.

With "Library", each base had modes, and those modes controlled all the cameras connected to the base.  With "Feed", each location has has modes, and those modes control all the cameras in that location.

Can you provide the details of how many cameras you have and how you want them scheduled?  Then we can provide more tailored advice.

My iOS apps show Library menu option since the account is old from early 2015. This original Arlo system model came with five wireless cameras with its original base station from the local Best Buy retail store.
