Hey!

I noticed about a month ago I couldn't load recorded clips in the Arlo Secure app anymore when on my home network. I switched off wifi and tried on 5G and it worked instantly.

Now I want to remedy this by configuring my Unifi controller but I'm not sure how to do this, Unifi has this new Policy engine where I control traffic and I'm not sure what I should allow to fix this. Is there any specific IP's or domains I can try to whitelist/allow to fix my problem?

Thank you.

Is this for feed recordings or local storage? Did you make any changes to the network or gateway at all? If so did the behavior you are seeing happen after? Also, what device are you using that you are seeing this behavior on?

The recordings are stored at Arlo, I’m guessing they use some kind of cloud service… Amazon? Cloudflare?

I haven’t made any changes to my network, I can’t swear that Unifi haven’t done anything when updating software on my deviced though 🤷🏼‍♂️ Thats why I’m asking if there are any ip’s or domains I can put on a whitelist.

I’m using an Apple iPhone 17 pro with Arlo secure app version 6.6.6 (16366).

Both.

Are you still seeing this same behavior?

Yes I do. It’s highly frustrating.

I also noticed that if I turn of wifi, going to 5G, and then turning wifi on again the clips plays instantly for a while until I exit the app and opening it again. Such irratic behavior 😆

Can you please reach out to support through the app, that way they can look into this further. You can access support by clicking the silhouette on the top left then support center. From there you will follow the prompts.
