Any advice on accessing the cameras? I’ve downloaded the new app and replaced batteries after a long layoff. I’ve synched them correctly and all lights are correct but I can’t get them to work. Doesn’t look like Arlo support is back from the Christmas break.

Are the cameras on-line when they are close to the base?
One thing you could try is to remove the base from the account, then reset it and add it back again. https://kb.arlo.com/1057976/How-can-I-reset-my-Arlo-SmartHub-or-base-station-to-the-default-values
I do this from a PC myself (not the app).

Have you tried the web client ( https://my.arlo.com )
Are you seeing the cameras in the account? What exactly do you mean by "can't get them to work"? Are they off-line? Or is something else wrong?

Yes I can see the cameras in the app but they're all offline. I've tried to synch them which seems to work as I'm getting the flashing blue lights. When I try to access them they don't connect. I'm beginning to think it may be the router, I've downloaded the app onto my wife's phone and still can't make any progress. The router is showing the correct three green lights.
