Cameras won't stay connected

Cameras worked fine afor a couple months, now they will not stay connected to the base. I've recharged the batteries, reconnected with the base, moved the base station from my wifi router, all to no avail. When I take the batteries out and put them back in they will reconnect briefly then immediately disconnect.

Complete waste of money. I'm ready to punt and find a more reliable option, and it seems as if many people have the same problem.

I would try and remove the devices from the base, factory reset the base and re-install from scratch.
