Cameras synced but not recording

Cameras were successfully synced and recording.  I took batteries out of two cameras and left he other two alone.  The two I left alone are no longer functioning.  What do I do to get the two I left to work?

Try power cycling the base.  Open and close battery doors again, making sure batteries are fresh and installed correctly.
