Cameras not recording when Arlo alarm system is set to standby

Is there a way to keep the cameras recording while the security system is set to “standby”? Currently, when I’m home and the system is in “standby,” none of my cameras record when motion is detected. I don’t want to set the system to “arm home” because I’m going in and out of the house and opening sensor equipped doors throughout the day.
