Since my system updated on the 29th of December I have no new entries in my library. My cameras are working as I can view them live and I can walk by them and see the infared Led's come on. I have tried restarting the system, taking the batteries out of the cameras.
Can someone please help me get my system working again like it is supposed to?
Thanks

I had the same issue, the only solution for me was to reset the base an reinstall everything. Now it works fine.

After I posted that I did a hard reset on the base station. That did not fix my issue. I have talked to customer support and they were not able to figure out my issue even logging into it. Waiting on a call back from a higher level of support.

Michelem,
If you have performed a factory reset on your base station. The base station must be added back to the account and the cameras resynced before any cameras will show on the cameras screen. Please let me know if you are still having issues with this!

I added the base station back to my system. The cameras show up but will not record on motion still. I have never received a call back from customer support.
Has anyone figured out a solution for this issue?

AAB,
Is the running man on the cameras screen grey or black? Check your modes to make sure you have a mode set that contains rules that tell the cameras to record when detecting motion.

He is black. I have gone through all of the settings as well as tech support. The cameras are detecting motion. The infareds will light up if it is dark out.

I am having the same issue also. The camera detects motion (ie. the running man becomes "yellow") but the video does not record. The rules have also been set to "record on motion".

Jaybe123,
If the running man turns yellow this means motion is currently being detected and recording is taking place. After the this is finished a recording will appear in the library. Does no recording ever appear in the library?

I am aware that the yellow running man means motion is detected. But video is not being recorded nor does it show up as a saved file in the library. I have contacted customer support (NetGear live chat) and they could not resolve the case. They opened a new case to a higher level of support but I have not heard back in over 1 week.

AAB, Jaybe123
I would like to look in to your case, could you provide me in a private message the case number that you have open with support?

I had the same issue with one of my cameras, It would not record on motion. I had two rules set up for the camera(Front Porch).
Rule 1 was Recored on Motion -> Front Porch for 20 seconds. This one stopped happening after the last SW update.
Rule 2 was to trigger another camera to record (Inside Front Door for 60 seconds if Front Porch detected motion. This one kept working.
I had several other cameras where the rule stopped working. I found if I changed something on the rule (I just changed the times slightly) and resaved them, they started working.
Thiis was a bigger pain in the butt with the new software update. Since you can't create a rule, and then add it to multiple modes, I suspect that some rules aren't doing what they say they are doing. It's possible that my rule worked on my first Mode, but not any other modes it was in, but I can't test this now.
