I have 5 cameras. 3 cameras stay connected and 2 cameras constantly disconnect and go offline. I was previously told this was due to an interference problem with router and base station. I have moved the base away as far as possible from the router (the length of the Ethernet cable from the base station to my router). That helps for maybe a few hours, maybe a day, but then it goes offline. I have to remove batteries, and reset the two affected cameras to get them online. I repeat this process daily. It’s ridiculous and I’m ready to throw the entire system in the trash. Batteries are not the problem. My set up is simple. The arlo base is connected into the back of my xfinity cable router. I have tons of bandwidth speed, so that can’t be the problem. I’ve tried removing and re-adding the cameras. No luck.
I’m out of ideas. Please help!

What is the signal strength showing on the cameras that are disconnecting? To solve my disconnection problems I purchased a wifi extender and a second base. Each base is near the opposite corner of the house from each other. The critical thing here is the connection between the base station and the cameras. Even if there is some sort of interferrence between the base and the cameras, getting the strongest signal posssible is advantageous.

Thanks for replying. The signal strength doesn’t appear to be the issue. One of the cameras that loses connection is just a few feet from the router. The others are not much further. I have cameras which are much further from the base and router, have weaker signals and stay connected.

Have you tried swapping the cameras to see if there might be some interference between the base and those cameras?
Usually, rapid battery drain is caused by the cameras losing connection with the base and they keep trying to reconnect until the batteries die or a connection is made.
