A week after purchasing an Arlo camera I received a notification that batteries were low and needed replacing. I replaced all four batteries with Panasonic CR123a with + and - aligned as per the indicators.

Now the camera is not responsive and doesn't appear to turn on. It is also not being picked up by the base. I tried the batteries in another camera and they worked fine.

Any suggestions?

When you insert the batteries and close the compartment lid, you should see a blinking blue light.
Sometimes the connection can be a bit iffy. Make sure you only loosely insert the batteries and close the compartment door to get a good contact with each of the terminals. Stick the batteries closest to the butt end in first as occasionally the batteries can jump from the lens end to the butt end due to the magnet and thus be in the wrong polarity.

You said you tried the batteries in another camera. Can you try that camera's battery in this camera? ie swap batteries between cameras
