Camera not picking up

So I gave my friend's on my keys to fix something my home - so I could see him but the camera downstairs never picked him up and only got him once outside and he was working on the porch and back of home - never picked him up and never got him downstairs -- THIS IS VERY UPSETTING -- sensitivity is at 100%

Mine detected movement in the daylight hours, but nothing at dark. The night vision is on. My son got home at 1:00am and no video at all. The sensitivity is at 100% as well.

Where are these cameras located? There could be an issue with the location of the cameras that resulted in the cameras missing the events. How far is the camera from the event that it failed to detect?

Was the system "Armed" during the time frames where it would have been expected to detect motion? If using a schedule, be sure the correct modes are set during the desired time frames.
