The cameras will show video and will record but only when I manually direct them to record.  The cameras will not initiate recording from motion detection.  I can do a motion detection test and I get the yellow light, but when I put the system into armed mode, they will not record.  I have restarted each camera, I have reset the base station and I have changed the batteries.  I do not know what else to do.

If you’re familiar with modes and rules, create a custom mode with camera rule to test the motion trigger recording and notification function and activate the mode and check again.

Great, is armed mode working again also?

Yes- I created a test rule and tested it and it worked. Then I removed the test rule and went back to armed mode and it worked.

Thanks for letting us know.

It’s not the expected outcome if the armed mode was broken which I was suggesting next.

It’s an arlo mystery I guess. Glad it’s working again.
