I want to install a camera in an unused outlet by my door. I want to mount just the camera lens and motion detector on a blank switch plate cover. I can stuff the electronics in the jbox. Has anyone taken this camera apart?

I think it would be easier to take a cover plate and cut a perfect fit oval hole to fit the camera, things nowdays are usu 'snap' fit and tend to not stay together well after opening.....

 

But by all means, let us know how it works.
