Camera Connection Stopped Working For No Reason

A few days ago the camera started recording everything, but no matter what I tried to change the settings to it continued to record everything.  So of course the batteries didnt last.  We replaced with 4 new batteries and even a second set, but the camera doesnt power on at all.  It is dead, nothing goes on, no light, nothing.

 

We havent had it that long,  I am very disappointed, What now
