Cam eats batteries

Hi I’ve had my camera for about a year. Suddenly it began eating its batteries. Three times in a row they were dead in a day or two. I live in Southern California where it doesn’t get very cold and it has the latest firmware. Any thoughts? Thank you!!

It could be that the bad camera is defective. Is the camera losing its connection? I would advise to take the camera inside in a room with decent lighting but little to no motion for a day or two and see if the problem improves or stays the same. It could be some new electronics gadget nearby interfering with the signal. Also try moving the base a little further away from the router if you haven't tried that already.
