Bought new batteries and camera still shows 2% and won’t sync.

Reboot the base. Remove the batteries and reinsert lightly - don't push them down. Let the battery door do the pushing.

What kind of batteries did you buy?

 

I'm using rechargeable batteries and get a low percentage reading because I think the cell coltage is lower compared to one time use batteries. So in essence, the battery level reading gets wrong since they are always based on voltage level and a cetain battery chemistry is asumed.

 

I'm using these batteries with good results. Camera has been running since January 1st on these:

Rechargeables need to be two things:

 

1) Have built-in circuitry to prevent over-charging and over-current.

 

2) Are 3.7v lithium-ion.
