Can someone advise me if the battery life is drained by simply watching the live feed, or does it only drain from recording?

Watching the LIVE Stream or RECORDING use the most/same battery power . If in Motion Detect mode the cameras use little and If Disarmed, the cameras are in a sort of sleep mode using almost no power.

 

Watching previous recorded videos use no battery power at all
