I am a bit confused with respect to the plans - so 7 days free but then there are two more options -- what is the benefit for paying fees -- does not the cameras take pictures when there are motions one you use up your 7 days or the cameras will not alert after 7 days - I am guessing you will not receive alerts after 7 days you just have to monitor yourself?

No, the days each plan is associated with is the retention time for video recordings in your library.

So, the basic plan will keep a rolling history of the past seven days of recordings in your library. Anything older will be deleted automatically.

The other (paid) plans' retention time is 30 days and 60 days, respectively.

The only other difference is the number of cameras that can be hooked up to the same account under each plan. It is five cameras on the free plan, ten and 15 respectively on the two paid plans.

Every other technical aspect concerning modes, rules, triggering and what not is the same across all plans.
