The batteries that came with the cameras will not charge yet they have only been used once. Other batteries I bought do fine when recharging. Can I send the ones you sold me back for a refund?

The batteries that come with the cameras are 3 volt non-rechargeable a123 batteries. You can buy and use rechargeable 3.7 volt 16340 batteries to use if you like (look around the forums for information).

Be very careful... attemping to charge a OEM cell ( primary cell , non-rechargeable )   can cause possible fire, damage to cell  re acid leakage, and damage to charging unit.

hcrandall,

The batteries included with the Arlo Cameras are NOT rechargeable (Uplink51 states above). Please heed TomMac's warning on the dangers of attempting to recharge a disposable battery. You can find more information about safe battery handling in the following article: Remember these golden rules for your Arlo camera batteries.
