Recently installed the arlo system in my home.  I am unable to see anything from my cameras when I log in from my android phone.   I am having to turn my base unit off and then in again and then and only then can I get footage.   This appears to be happening everyday.  Is there something I need to do to ensure I do not have to continually turning the unit off and on again?

Have you tried logging out and back into the Arlo servers?  That can help.

Yes numerous times and it's still happening

You can try uninstalling and re-installing the app.  What happens when you use a browser?
