How close can the Base Station be placed to the Router?  I have an R7000 router.

The Base Station will be connected to the router with a network (ethernet)  wire with RJ45 connectors (looks like fat telephone cable).

The length limit for ethernet is 300 ft.

Appreciate that as we approach that 300' limit, stability could get dicey.

Can the base station be too close to my wifi/router?

No. The two routers are connected by that single wire and do not interfere with each other on wireless.

Understood.  I thought that the Wifi/Router wireless signal might cause a problem with the Base Station wireless signal.  Now I see it does not.  Thanks.

To be clear, I had my base maybe 4 inches from my high-powered router with no issues. Also, the R7000 has the ability to act as a base station with the appropriate firmware which means they're as close as possible using the same channel, again with no issues here.
