Hi,

My FW Version is 1.2.1728 of the Base Station.

My auto update FW is on. Switched it on/of restart etc. It says: No Updates Available.

Any ideas what to do?

Kind regards, Marc

Try and toggle the auto update off ( then save ) Then toggle back on and save again....

Next go to base settings and deactivate and the reactivate ( basicly rebooting )

Thanks, but this didn't work. After de-activation my BS was gone. So where is the re-activation button? Why doesn't this work as it should be ....

You can re-activate your base station be performing the following steps while you are in the same location and on the same network as the base station:

1) Log into your Arlo account

2) Click/tap "Settings"

3) Click/tap Subscription

4) Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page/screen under "Base Stations"

5) Add Base Station

6) the Base station serial number should auto populate

7) Click "Continue"

Your base station should now be connected!! You will also need to resync your cameras.

Again the message. Clicked on update. And again no update result.

This is not good Netgear! Why so much difficulties for updating a cam. This cam was not ready for production I believe.

Is this a cam or the base??

cam sw = 1.2.2412

It's primary the Base Station which won't update:  FW Version 1.2.1728

The cams have SW version 1.1.1733

It appears both your base and cams are out of current version...

If it was me, I prob do a full reset to factory defaults ( paper clip hole AND sync button for about 10 seconds till all lights flash )

BUT, it can be a pain as you'd have to also resync the cams and redo any modes/scheds you made

IMO, it sounds like you should bounce this off a higher pay scale than mine ( ASK NETGEAR ).

BTW if you didn't know....

Paperclip = reset ( like for locked up )

Paperclip + Sync button = full factory reset ( all deleted info, just like when out of box )
