Hello,

I have the regular Arlo base station and cameras.  They have always had an audible 'click' that sounds like the opening of a camera lens (which is probably what it is) when the cameras are turned on.  I find this pretty bothersome and it serves as a constant reminder to people that they're on camera. Is there a way to de-activate this?

Similarly, do you know if the new versions of Arlo (either the Pro or Pro2) have a similar noise when the camera is started?

Many thanks for your time.

I believe it's the IR filter being moved into the default position.  That filter is engaged with Nightvision.

There's no way to change it.

The noise has never bothered me - so I don't know if it's quieter on the newer cameras.  Are your cameras indoors?
