Assistance with left behind system

we recently purchased a home and found an Arlo system had been left behind. That includes the doorbell camera and three other cameras. However, I have no experience with Arlo nor can I tell even what types of cameras these are or where to begin.  Since Arlo makes it impossible for a newbie to speak to someone, I was wondering how I should proceed with identifying, and then potentially signing up for an account.

Arlo only allows equipment to be in one account, so if the previous owner didn't remove them from their account, then you are out of luck.  Do you have a way to contact that person?

As far as product identification goes:

• If the cameras have a removable housing (with a button that releases the housing), then you can open the housing and remove the battery inside.  There is a label behind the battery that identifies the camera.
• If the housing does not appear to be removable, then look at the back of the camera for a small VMCxxxx label.  The other place to look is on the seal over the charging port.  The label on the seal is embossed and low contrast - so quite hard to see.  Changing the angle to get a reflection can help you spot it,  and sometimes it is helpful to take a photo so you can enlarge the text.
• Doorbells are unfortunately much harder to identify.  They come with a small release pin that removes the doorbell from the wall plate - if you no longer have that, you can substitute a paper clip.  The AVD1001 has the release hole on the bottom of the doorbell, the other three models have the release hole at the top.  If you release the doorbell and find a removable battery inside, then you have the AVD2001.  Otherwise you have second gen AVD3001 or AVD4001.  You don't need to figure out whether you have the AVD3001 or AVD4001 until after you install them (then it is easy to tell).
