I purchased two Arlo wireless units and had them working correctly. I could access the live video, they would detect motion and record video, etc.

Last night I mounted one of the units outside on the garage overlooking the front of the house. Once I had finished the installation the camera and all it's features worked great. I was pretty happy with the outcome.

The camera recorded two videos early this morning. One video of me leaving the house and another of my wife leaving the house.

But that was the last videos from this camera I can see in my library. There are no videos of the comings and goings this afternoon. I still have live video from the camera when I walk in front of it but it missed at least 1/2 dozen chances to take video.

By the way, the second unit that I have in the house continues to record videos.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!

First you have to determine if it's a hardware or positioning issue. You can try swapping cameras around to see if the problem follows the camera or stays with the position. Also, check the sensitivity setting and see if increasing it helps. Beyond that, assuming the problem is in the location and not the camera, making sure motion is detected across the FOV and is detected near an edge should help. Too much scenery can hurt detection.
