Arlo wireless camera not detecting motion

The cameras used to detect motion and record...but recently they have gotten worse and worse. At this point even though they are armed (should record)...they do not record anything.

it is strange because this happened a month ago..and my solution was to move them in closer so now they are within 7 feet...but now again they have stopped recording.

I have checked they are clean, reseated the batteries, rebooted the hub.

Is there an issue with motion detection degrading over time with these? How do I get them to record motion like they used to??

No recordings at all? What firmware are they running?
