I've recently purchased an Arlo camera and so far so good.

However I would love to be able to get text alerts but cannot work out how to set this up. I do receive push notifications and emails but not text alerts.

I am based in the UK and my mobile phone network is EE who is a parent brand of tmobile (http://ee.co.uk/our-company/about-ee).

I've tried setting up my mobile number using the tmobile email address format advised in other threads on this forum (10 digit mobile number@tmomail.net)
but this doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

It appears that EE has discontinued that service and I see a lot of complaints about that. I believe that others are using free third party services to do that.

For what it is worth I will give you the google search link I used so you can read up on it.

I am in the US and I simply use my regular phone number for texts and either my gmail or hotmail accounts for the email alerts.
