Hello,
My in-laws bought two Essential Outdoor Camera 2nd Generation cameras. The trial period has ended, and I'd like to know exactly what features can no longer be used without a subscription. Since the subscription ended, I no longer have access to event recordings. I thought they could be kept for 7 days in the cloud before being lost. This isn't clear on their website. What exactly is the situation?

All currently sold Arlo cameras require a subscription for any Cloud recording. If they had a VM4540 or VMB5000 smarthub they could switch to direct access to local storage. Though that might not work remotely (it depends on their internet service provider).
