I have the Arlo wire free HD 2 camera system, Which comes with the half moon shaped magnetic mounts. I am considering mounting one to a tree which would be prime location to capture the desired area of coverage. I saw a mention or two of others securing into a tree but just wondered if anyone has had a bad experience doing so. This would mean no protection from rain or other elements. I’m skeptical doing so but just wanted some feedback or any experience, good or bad, mounting to a tree. Hopefully this would help my decision. Thanks so much

OK, I think I can live with that I’m going to attempt to attach it to the tree today. Thank you so much for your feedback if this fails for any reason or the blur poses more of an issue than not, I’ll just go with the option of a different mount in order to have a little protection from the rain.
Tks again
