Hi
I’ve recently bought an Arlo System but I’m not sure how the motion monitoring system works. Is there a distance limit? One in my back seems only to work when I’m close to it and the one looking at the front seems to work intermittently.

The cameras use a PIR device to detect IR / motion... the max distance for people is about 20+ ft for Arlo, 25+ft for Pro/Pro2. ( mind that cars easily reflect ir so they can be detected farther away so avoid roadways in field of view )
make traffic flow accross the FOV and SLOWLY adjust the sense level to achieve good responses without a lot of false triggers
