I just got a 4 Arlo set. Got them installed and realized my only options are off or on with motion sensors. I live on a busy intersection and I'm now not sure if I can find a setting that will accomodate the traffic. Any advice?

Honestly, the cameras aren't really designed for 'high usage locations'.  The Arlo cameras are designed for motion detected recording... but at a usage rate of 4 mins a day to achieve the lfie of batteries as stated.

If you using them to watch traffic at an intersection, the life of the batteries will be very short.

If the location can be viewed from the inside of your home, The Arlo Q camera ( which is AC powered ) and can record 24/7 with the paid CVR option may be better suited to this type of recording.

As to the ON/ OFF option only.... yes and no. The Cameras can be operated individually ( by adding new Modes ) or in groups...and also run via the schedule for certain times

As already explained by the previous poster, busy intersections is not what the Arlo cameras have been designed for, as you will run their batteries down in a few hours' time. Since they are battery-powered, you'd be exchanging batteries on a daily basis, which is both cost-prohibitive and a nuisance.

You have a pretty powerful set of tools at your fingertips as far as recording goes.

Any combination of cameras you want to be active at any given time requires a separate mode to be created. So, don't rely on the default Armed mode. Create your own in the combinations that you need them.

Report back if you're unsure about how to schedule your cameras. We can help.
