Arlo doesn’t work on new iPhone X S model with 12.0.1 iOS

Video on all cameras only shows 1 second clip instead of the full video.. At least the full video works on iPads and older iOS 12.0 or earlier.

Figures after posting I had an update waiting to install 12.1 seems to have fixed the issues with the new iPhones.
