Arlo brightness

I know how to adjust the brightness..I'm just having a hard time understanding which setting it the brightest. The empty sun icon or the full sun icon? I slide it back and forth but don't really notice a difference

the solid sun is darker and the empty one is brighter. You have to click the check to the right to apply the setting.

It seems you have to exit live view and then acces it again to ensure the changed setting goes into effect.
