My base station goes off line ever few weeks, this started only happening in last year.  I try to reset it normal way, nothing works so I delete the device and then add it back in and it works again.  Any suggestions?

What method are you using to view the system, mobile or web browser app?
Try power cycling the base station every few days to see if will remain online.

Hello 99% of time mobile, I am not sure how I access the site affects it going offline but I will try rebooting it regularly. Thanks.   Anyone else have same issue?

Just to clarify what you’re getting when the base station goes offline.
You access the arlo app ok and it shows your camera devices but displays the devices are offline and if you select the base station information it says it is also offline. Correct?

I got this issue regularly some time ago and installed a smart switch to power cycle the base station on a regular basis as well as remotely when I was away.
This was the only work around to be able to rely on the system.

Thanks Dannybear, can you either give me a name of the smart switch or explain how a smart switch power cycles….sounds exactly like what I need.  I have heard of smart switches but did not know they cycle power.  This would fix it.

They are usually referred to as smart plugs, available from local electronic stores etc. You install an app that you can schedule a power off and then back on.
I suggest you try the manual method for a while to prove the work around does work for you although it’s handy to have anyway when you need remote control.
