Arlo base station syn botton doesn't work

When I press the sync button on the base station for 2 seconds, nothing happens.

 

 

What I've done:

 

- base station and cameras have power. 

 

- Base station power and internet lights are on

 

- I downloaded the mobile app and confirmed the base station is connected by restarting the base sation from my mobile app

 

 

Of course there is no real person support - so I watched all of the installation videos and re-read the directions 10 times - starting think product is broken or just a POS.  Either way, I'm returing the product in 24 if I can't get assistance online

just tried pressing the base station sync button on quickly - it worked. 

 

So, just press it normally and DO NOT "press and hold for 2 seconds" as the instructions describe. 

 

Suggestion to Arlo - update your product documentation to reflect how your product actually works.  

 

Thanks for wasting an hour of my time.

You do realize that there's a big Support link at the top of the page here which, after clicking on the Contact Support link on the new page would give you all options?

 

I can't believe so many folks don't look over what's right in front of them.
