Hi,

I have an Arlo camera setup at my home, and I am not there at the moment, it is many hours drive away.

The camera system is on a metered mobile broadband which is fine, but it ran out of credit and I could not connect in to check on my home. I have now topped up my internet credit, so I know that the base station can see the internet, but I still get all 10 of my cameras as offline.

I read that some cameras have problems reconnecting but I'm not sure if that's just the Pro cameras? It seems like this problem still remains. Can anyone confirm please?

I would have though the engineers would have programmed an autoreboot after continuous non internet connection for a predetermined amount of time, in order to restart the network stack and get the base units back online. Its the kind of thing that could be programmed into the firmware in 10 minutes by a pro. Does Arlo have such a "feature"? Maybe after a few hours or something it will reboot? Or am i dead in the water until I can go and physically power cycle the units?

I'm stuck without my cameras, and it is pretty frustrating to know that the solution would be literally that simple....

Thanks

Does the base show as connected in Settings, My Devices? If so, try rebooting the base using the Restart button. Can you access your router remotely and reboot it? For remote operation like this, it's worthwhile using a WiFi switch such as a WeMo to go between power and the base so you can remotely power cycle the base.

If all fails, your only choice is physical access. Hopefully someone local has access.
