Arlo app not linking to base station

All has been connected properly with the base station lights all green...no connection to the app on my handheld phone, IPad or computer.  When I press reset with a wire, coupled with sync button, I never get the amber blinking lights.  As such, I still can't connect to the app.  Any insights?  Thanks

Old info.  New firmware requires only pressing the reset button until the LEDs flash amber.  Be sure to also remove all devices in Settings, My Devices. Then use the Add Device button to add the base and sync the cameras normally.
