Arlo app not connecting to my phone

Since i downloaded the upgrade i am unable to control the system from my phone unless i am connected to the internet .

What phone? What verson of Android/iOS?

What version of the app? (look in "about").

Are you using the primary account, or one that was granted access?

@StephenB The Phone is samsung galaxy j3 luna pro running 6.0.1

The app is 2.7.15_25777

That's the old one.  You need to install the new Arlo app (currently version 2.9.2).  https://kb.arlo.com/000062252/Why-do-I-need-to-download-a-new-Arlo-app

 

Search for "Arlo Technologies" in the play store and you should find it there.

I installed the new app and now my android and my wife's iphone 11 both say No Internet Connection when we have wifi turned on.  If we turn wifi off everything seems to work.  Not an acceptable work-around as we use the net extensively from our phones.

I installed the new app(2.9.2)  and now my android and my wife's iphone 11 both say No Internet Connection when we have wifi turned on.  If we turn wifi off everything seems to work.  Not an acceptable work-around as we use the net extensively from our phones.

 

We de-installed the legacy app, cycled both phones and still get the same problem.

Does this have anything to do with your Arlo system?

 

Do these devices behave themselves when using wifi for other purposes?

 

Can you get your Arlo system to work with other clients? A PC, for example?
