Good day all, I have the Arlo Wire-less for single-story home usage.  One of the cameras is a bit far and we have purchased a TP-Link RE355 that we would like to use extend the in-house WiFi signal.  According to this KB article, I must hardwire the connection to the Arlo base station:

Is it impossible to setup w/o hardwire or is it untested for non-Netgear devices?  And if possible, any tips/guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance for your time/suggestions.

There are basically 3 ways to expand the range of Arlo base ( coverage wise);

1) centrally locate the base for best connection for all cameras by Ethernet cable

2) same as above, using a wifi extender with an Ethernet port ( providing enough thruput )

3) use two Arlo bases to expand actual coverage

The Arlo base sets up it own wifi network....this network will talk to the cameras only.

( reason why it needs an Ethernet connection to Internet)
