I am looking to purchase replacement batteries for my Arlo wireless camera. The majority of batteries I see for sale are "Li-on 3.0V..." batteries at reasonable cost. But the batteries I find designated as "For use with Arlo" are all 3.7 V and VERY MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. That is a very big difference. Will the camera operate correctly with the standard 3.0V Li-on batteries that are reasonable everywhere? What will the performance effect be with these instead of the 3.7V battery?

I use the rechargeable Tenergys and first time accidentally ordered the 3.0V.  They work but last for less than a day.

May I suggest, if they are available in your country using the rechargeables that Netgear has certified to work with the Arlo.  US link on the netgear arlo accessories page.  In Canada available on amazon.ca

The camera will NOT operate correctly on 3v rechargeables...

If you are buying rechargeables, they must be 3.7v li-ion.

Netgear has an approved set with charger ,like here;
