Hello,

There is one Arlo Wire-Free in a bed room.

     + I turned it off at 10PM via Setting->My Devices. The IR lights turned red when someone moved near the camera.

     + I turned it on at 08AM the next day.

The battery drained 3-4%. I noticed it many times. Is it normal?

Thanks.

I don't think it's supposed to work that way - off should be off.  However, I haven't tried it.  I'll try to remember to do it tonight.

I found it to work just as you said.  I used the Armed mode and then turned the camera OFF in Settings.  The camera was definitely reacting, clicks and IR illuminators, even with the off setting. No recordings were in the library.  I'd consider it a bug.

@JamesC - can you verify?

BonBon16, jguerdat,

I see this behavior as well. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I have escalated this for further clarification as to whether this is expected behavior or an issue.

I will post back once I have more information.
