My system failed just days after the warranty expired a few days ago. It had been working faultlessly for 12 months
Although it powers up, it will not sync etc
I have tried everything, including rebooting, reinstalling, deleting and reinstalling the iOS app...
Do I assume that the unit is 'dead', or have I missed something?

What are the LEDs on the base showing? A factory reset may or may not help.

All lights come on at power-up, but the only one that comes on after that is the green power light

The lack of the Internet LED showing anything means that there's no connection between the base and router. It could be a bad port on either the base or the router or a bad cable. Try restarting the router and base and swap around using a known good cable and other router ports. If the Internet LED never turns on, try a factory reset using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber and try again. If all fails, you may be able to return the system to the store for another or create a trouble ticket using the Support link above for a possible RMA.
