Arlo Solar Panel with use of the internal batteries?

I'm trying to use a solar panel but keep the batteries in the camera too , any ideas? the solar panel comes with a fake battey you stick in the camera but i want it to charge the batteries in the camera so i don't have to change them all the time  AC power is not  accessible where the camera are

Obv , you are not using an Arlo product as the 3000 models do not support solar charging.

And the solar panel does not produce enough power to run the cameras on there own.

If you attempting to think outside the box, there are a batch of old tread on modifying the older cameras.

what you want may need to run external battery... I ran an Arlo HD off a 6v gells cell that was supplied power by a solar  panel ( with voltage regulator ) to allow the battery to charge properly.

Remember that any thing done outside the box is on you and not Arlo/Netgear as they don't approve of modding.
